Discovery Engages Part 1

Discovery knows how to get people engaged- Part 1.

Discovery Health wanted to increase their email subscribers since over the years a company is bound to experience peaks and valley’s in their customer subscriber lists.  As such, Discovery decided to take some of their premium fleeces which were stored in inventory and turn them into a sweepstakes.  The rules were simple really- sign up for the DH newsletter and receive a fleece.  They were able to not only increase their subscription rates (by a number I cannot disclose), but they were able to move inventory that was just sitting in a closet into the hands of lucky winners.  This was a good lesson learned, because a simple sweeps like this might keep people visiting the site due to unexpected giveaways.
